BorghilentiFestival 2024

From 31 May to 2 June, 2024 in Castelnuovo Bocca d’Adda, in the province of Lodi, the first edition of BorghilentiFestival will be held, a festival of territorial and cultural regeneration which will offer three days of meetings, concerts, shows, workshops, walks and visits guided tours, dedicated to the themes of slow tourism, the environment and sustainability, social inclusion and the revitalization of small towns.

The Festival is part of the Borghilenti project, created by the Municipality of Castelnuovo Bocca d’Adda in collaboration with the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies of Politecnico di Milano. The project, winner of the Borghi Call of the Ministry of Culture based on PNRR resources, takes the opportunity of the VENTO cycle path (under construction) to work jointly on slow tourism, social inclusion, recovery of the historic center and cultural revitalization of the country, developing and testing an urban regeneration model which has the ambition of offering itself as a possible replicable strategy in small and medium-sized coastal towns interested in or close to the VENTO cycle route.
